Come to the Edge
Come to the Edge. A longing for a more colourful life. All it has done was start a wildfire inside. Slowly gaining ground and growing bigger and fiercer with each passing day.

Come to the Edge - Christopher Logue
Come to the Edge.
We Might fall.
Come to the Edge.
It’s too High!
COME TOT THE EDGE!
And they came,
And he pushed,
and they flew.
I’ve come across this poem in a book I have. It’s called “The Poetry Pharmacy” by William Sieghart. The condition this poem suits is that of “lack of Courage”. It’ll fit other conditions too, such as fear, lack of confidence and lack of conviction.
I found it quite fitting for this point in time, as it can be difficult to gain ones hunger for life back.
Terrifying to be honest. I think whenever you pick something up that has been missing for long enough, you become incredibly careful not to leave your comfort of what you know.
This longing for a more colourful life. All it has done was start a wildfire inside. Slowly gaining ground and growing bigger and fiercer with each passing day.
